Invitation to the 35th International Porsche 356 Meeting in Germany from 13th to 16th May 2010 Dear Porsche 356 friends, The 35th International Porsche 356 Meeting will take place in the year 2010 in Leipzig. In 1975 the first meeting was organised by a small group of enthusiasts and it has now become an established event for international Porsche 356 owners. The meeting as such has come to mean much more than just a time for getting together and the organising team has set itself the objective to show its visitors the Porsche factory in Leipzig as well as some scenic areas within eastern Germany. With this in mind we give you the opportunity to visit one of the most interesting and historical cities as well as surrounding parts of Germany. The hotel you will be staying at for the duration is the RAMADA Hotel Leipzig which has 4 stars and is situated at the eastern edge of Leipzig. This hotel offers a modern and elegant atmosphere and a personalised and attentive service round the clock. But this is also the 35th International Porsche 356 Meeting and we have strived to organise an attractive programme for you that balances sight-seeing, small roads and the on-road track at the Porsche factory for driving your 356, excellent catering and time to socialise and to relax. Thursday 13th May 2010 12.00 onwards: Arrival at the RAMADA Hotel Leipzig 19.00: Welcome 19.30: International Buffet Dinner at the RAMADA Hotel Leipzig Friday 14th May 2010 08.30 onwards: Excursion to the Porsche factory in Leipzig - On-Road Driving with your own 356 - Guided Factory Tours and additional Adventures incl. Lunch at the factory 16.00 onwards: Bus Shuttle towards the city centre and independent sightseeing around Leipzig’s old town 18.00: Organ concert within the Nikolai Church 19.30: 3-course-dinner at the Auerbach Cellar incl. a German-English performance 22.00 onwards: Bus Shuttle from the city center to the RAMADA Hotel Leipzig Saturday 15th May 2010 09.00 onwards: Touristic Rally on some of the most interesting and beautiful roads, including the wine area of the Saale-Unstrut 12.00: Lunch will be taken within the area 13.00 onwards: Touristic Rally via Naumburg towards the Dornburger Castles incl. visit of the castles 19.30: 4-course Gala-Dinner incl. dessert and cheese buffet at the RAMADA Hotel Leipzig Music from the band „The Voices” and prizegiving Sunday 16th May 2010 Sunday Brunch Farewell – end of meeting |
